Millsy’s Post-Corona Run In: Leicester City F.C.
After what seems like forever, the Premier League is finally back to light up our screens! In preparation for the opening weekend, Millsy's View is going to take a look at each team and review how they have done so far, how they might perform with the remaining fixtures and where they might finish in … Continue reading Millsy’s Post-Corona Run In: Leicester City F.C.
Champions League Draw: Thoughts
Well the 16 best teams in Europe have been decided, now we come to the serious part! The weekend (thankfully) is over and today has seen the draw of the first knockout stage of the best competition in the world, the Champions League.
Millsy’s View: This Saturday’s Predictions
So, for a long time since I started doing this, I've always thought of starting the weekend off with my predictions. Ok, this may be a pointless and ultimately embarrassing way to go about things, but these days a man needs to be ahead of the curve, rather than reacting to what's already taken place. Plus, as some may know, I love a good "I told you so" and what better way to achieve that than telling people what's going to happen before it does?
Millsy’s View: Week 8
Since I last wrote something, the football world it seemed has gone into upheaval! The Mourinho saga at United (one of my primary focuses) has been creating new headlines for hungry reporters by the day. Millsy’s View – Week 6: Post-Break Blues
The international break has been and gone, along with this confusing and pointless Nations League which, like a lot of Man United's play is a good idea with poor execution (More on that later). Firstly, I must make a hearty apology for missing last weeks round of games plus the Champions League but, much the … Continue reading Millsy’s View – Week 6: Post-Break Blues
Millsy’s Sunday Takeaway – Week Three
Round 3 of the Premier League has come upon us and the teams are starting to grow into the season nicely. We've seen teams and players get off to a roaring start, only to be brought back to reality, we've seen teams that some (me) thought might not get off the ground go powering through, … Continue reading Millsy’s Sunday Takeaway – Week Three
Millsy’s Weekend Takeaway – Second Week Syndrome
It's Sunday, which means the weekend is almost over and the working week, sadly, starts up again. It also means that the Premier League is over and, like your free time, also gone for another week.
Millsy’s View: The New Season Is Here And IT. IS. ON.
So, that wonderful time is upon us again. After 26 LONG days that seemed like 26 years, football is BACK if not coming home....Yes, that period of great togetherness that the World Cup 2018 seemed to bring to the country (i.e. England fans united in support of England and everyone else united in their hatred/jealousy … Continue reading Millsy’s View: The New Season Is Here And IT.
