Saturday is upon us, I'm off from everything all day, so I'm going to be here for ALL of it, what a Saturday! The pinnacle of it all for me will be Ole's debut, but of course we have Arsenal at home to Burnley with Sean Dyche's men on a bad run and Bournemouth at … Continue reading Millsy’s View: Saturday Predictions
It's (sort of) Super Sunday and here in Frankfurt it is buried under snow! So, what better time to curl up under a blanket, blast heating, pop a beer and tune into some quality foosball?
So, for a long time since I started doing this, I've always thought of starting the weekend off with my predictions. Ok, this may be a pointless and ultimately embarrassing way to go about things, but these days a man needs to be ahead of the curve, rather than reacting to what's already taken place. Plus, as some may know, I love a good "I told you so" and what better way to achieve that than telling people what's going to happen before it does?
Since I last wrote something, the football world it seemed has gone into upheaval! The Mourinho saga at United (one of my primary focuses) has been creating new headlines for hungry reporters by the day. Cristiano Ronaldo has been accused of rape and is looking, in my opinion, a little guilty as a hush payment … Continue reading Millsy’s View: Week 8
So the football headlines this week have been dominated by one thing and one thing only: Mourinho and Pogba's relationship. So I'm writing this article with one question in my mind: what the hell is going on and how can it be fixed, if at all?! It's Sunday, which means the weekend is almost over and the working week, sadly, starts up again. It also means that the Premier League is over and, like your free time, also gone for another week.
It's Tuesday. It's only the second day of the week, it seems like agonisingly long since the football was and even more agonisingly long until its on again, so now begins the long hard slog to try and make it to the next round of fixtures. What the hell is there to do in the … Continue reading Millsy’s Tuesday Takeaway
So, that wonderful time is upon us again. After 26 LONG days that seemed like 26 years, football is BACK if not coming home....Yes, that period of great togetherness that the World Cup 2018 seemed to bring to the country (i.e. England fans united in support of England and everyone else united in their hatred/jealousy … Continue reading Millsy’s View: The New Season Is Here And IT. IS. ON.
Look, I know that this is not a popular view (besides, maybe, 50% percent of Arsenal fans) because most of us turn our noses up at the thought of Arsene Wenger leaving Arsenal because 'he's been there so long he should choose when to leave'. Believe me, even I've said that before, we all have! … Continue reading Sorry Guys, Wenger Has To Go
